The Anchorage International Airport Retrofit Phase I & II involved a 3-story concrete and steel structure designed to enhance the airport’s facilities and improve operational efficiency. NGE-TFT provided critical support throughout the project, performing special inspections on all structural components, including the concrete foundations, steel framing, and other key structural elements. In addition to the structural inspections, our team conducted comprehensive testing on concrete, soils, and asphalt to ensure that all materials met the project’s specifications and industry standards. This thorough oversight helped ensure the successful completion of the retrofit, enhancing the safety, durability, and functionality of the airport.
